"Khalid Shameem Wynne died while travelling with his son, driver and a friend to Lahore on 30 December 2017, when a tyre on the SUV they were travelling in burst near Chakri Interchange on the Rawalpindi–Lahore motorway.[1] His friend also died on the spot while Wynne's son was critically injured. The driver also received injuries.
