In September 1840, Orson Pratt published a version of the First Vision in England.[1] This version states that after Smith saw the light, "his mind was caught away, from the natural objects with which he was surrounded; and he was enwrapped in a heavenly vision."[2] Pratt's account referred to "two glorious personages who exactly resembled each other in their features or likeness".[2]
