In page Leamington Spa railway station:

"

Historically Leamington was also served by Warwick (Milverton) railway station, on the edge of the town which was originally known as Leamington station, and was the original terminus of the London and North Western Railway branch line from Coventry opening in 1844. In the 1850s this line was extended closer to the centre of Leamington and a new station Leamington Spa (Avenue) railway station was opened alongside the GWR station. Both Milverton and Avenue stations were closed in 1965, and the Coventry line was connected to the present station.[1]
